Learn how to create a RenewMap account using Google, Microsoft, or your email address. Step-by-step sign-up instructions to start tracking energy projects with RenewMap.

Sign up for a RenewMap account to access the interactive map of renewable energy projects across Australia and New Zealand. With an account, you can explore up-to-date solar, wind, battery and other clean energy project data, track project progress, analyse market trends and plan strategic developments. Register quickly using your Google or Microsoft account, or sign up with your email address. Once your subscription is set up and your account is created, our team will provision your license so you can start using RenewMap to search projects, filter by location or status and export clean energy data for analysis.

Before you begin

To create a RenewMap account, you’ll need:

  • A valid Google or Microsoft account, or
  • A valid email address you can access

Sign up for RenewMap

To view the map and get started tracking energy projects with RenewMap, you can create an account:

  • Using your Google or Microsoft credentials, or
  • By signing up using your email address.

Its worth remembering which method you used to sign up, as you will use the same method to log into the map later.

Sign up with Google or Microsoft

To register for a RenewMap account using Google or Microsoft credentials:

  1. Go to https://map.renewmap.com.au/signup/.
  2. Select either Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft. A popup appears.
  3. Follow the onscreen instructions to register your account. A verification email is sent.

Note: You may need to disable your ad blocker or pop-up blocker.

After registering, our team will provision you a license and secure your access to RenewMap. A member of our team will reach out to you when your account is ready and you can sign in.

Sign up with email

To register for a RenewMap account using an email address:

  1. Go to https://map.renewmap.com.au/signup/.
  2. In the email field, enter the email address you want to associate with your RenewMap account.
  3. Select Sign in with email link and check your inbox. Or, select Sign in with password and create a password for your RenewMap account. A verification email is sent.

Note: You may need to check your spam folder. Look for an email from [email protected].

After registering, our team will provision you a license and secure your access to RenewMap. A member of our team will reach out to you when your account is ready and you can sign in.
